The common redpoll or mealy redpoll (Acanthis flammea), is a species of bird in the finch family. All redpolls are northern breeding woodland species, associated with birch trees. Small plump birds, they are grey-brown above and with a red patch on their crown.

The scaly-breasted munia or spotted munia (Lonchura punctulata), is a species of bird in the genus Lonchura. Only about 4.3 to 4.7 inches in length, this species of bird has a stubby bill typical of grain-eating birds, with brown upperparts and a dark brown head.

The hooded warbler (Setophaga citrina), is a New World warbler. A small bird measuring 5.1 inches in length, weighing 0.32-0.42 oz.

The goldcrest (Regulus regulus), is a very small passerine bird in the kinglet family. Not only Britains smallest bird, but it is also Europe’s smallest bird, being just 3.3-3.7 inches in length. Having olive-green upperparts with white underparts, the goldcrest has two white wing bars.

The chestnut-breasted mannikin (Lonchura castaneothorax), also known as the chestnut-breasted munia or bully bird. A small brown-backed bird with a black face, heavy bill, and greyish crown and nape.

The olive-backed sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis), also known as the yellow-bellied sunbird is small in size, only around 12 cm long. The male of the species has a bright yellow belly and a back that is dark brown in color. His forehead, throat, and upper breast are dark, metallic blue.
