A Rare Hidden Gem Of Breathtaking Color Has Sadly Become Even Rarer!

The world is full of natural wonders, and taking the time to look out your window can sometimes help you appreciate it. There are though, hidden gems many of us never get to see.

Just watching a squirrel scampering over a tree can bring a smile to your face, or walking hand and hand through the park, appreciating the world’s beauty with a loved one. You might just catch sight of a hidden gem that will take your breath away.

Like catching the sight of a pink Robin, though you will have to be in Australia to do so. Parts of the country have been ravaged by bush fires recently. However, the nation is so vast there is still a huge amount of biodiversity throughout the continent. Which of course includes the pink Robin. Most of us are familiar with the red-breasted Robin, once you see a pink Robin bouncing around though, you will soon have a big smile on your face.

You might be forgiven this bird is Photoshopped, that it couldn’t possibly be real. This I assure you is not the case, this sweet little bird is the real deal.

Not only is it the real deal, but it is also really quite random!

The animal population has taken a severe hit in Australia because of the bushfires. Over 1 billion animals have been estimated to have perished as a result of the fires but there are still many animals that thrive.

Although specific statistics about the pink Robin are not available, I’m sure that it was affected but it probably is doing quite well. The problem is, when the birds flew out of the area to avoid the fire, they didn’t have a home when they returned.

The pink Robin spends its time in the thick vegetation of the eucalyptus forests in Australia. They are a beautiful bird that is well worth your attention.

The males look different than the females to a certain extent because they have a more colorful appearance. Not only do they have a black head, but they also have that beautiful belly.

The females are more of an olive-brown color but they do still have a little bit of a pink coloring on their bellies as well.

The pictures by @ambikangela on Instagram have really opened our eyes to these beautiful birds.
